VoiceBond Privacy Policy

VoiceBond ("we", "the app") is a family companion app for early-childhood and prenatal education, centered on voice cloning, picture-book narration, and time capsules. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using VoiceBond you agree to this policy.

1. What we collect

• Account data: email, one-way hashed password (bcrypt), nickname.
• Voice recordings (biometric data): the voice samples you record to create a cloned voice.
• Children's profiles: nickname and birthday/expected-date you optionally add for your child. Only enter children's data as a parent or legal guardian.
• Content you create: picture books, reading history, time-capsule recordings and letters.
• Automatic data: access logs (IP, timestamp, device type, app version) for security and debugging.

We do not use any advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs, and we do not collect your contacts, photos, or location.

2. Voice data — a special note

Voice recordings are biometric data and receive heightened protection:

• Used only for voice cloning and story narration — never for identification, advertising, or any other purpose.
• Processed by our text-to-speech and voice-cloning provider MiniMax solely to generate your cloned voice and synthesized audio, under confidentiality terms. We do not sell or share voice data.
• You can delete any cloned voice from the Voice screen at any time. Deletion removes the source sample and derived voice model from our servers and the provider within 72 hours.
• Creating a cloned voice requires an active liveness check (you record a prompted phrase) to prevent cloning someone's voice without their presence.

3. How we use your data

• Power voice cloning and generate personalized narration so your family hears familiar voices.
• Generate picture-book text and illustrations (AI text by DeepSeek; illustrations by Volcengine) from prompts you provide.
• Store your media in access-controlled cloud storage (Alibaba Cloud OSS).
• Operate subscriptions and purchases (processed by Apple via in-app purchase; we never see your card details).
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve quality.

4. Third-party processors

We share the minimum data necessary with: MiniMax (voice cloning + TTS), DeepSeek (text generation), Volcengine (image generation), Alibaba Cloud (storage + database), and Apple (payments). Each processes data only to provide its service.

5. Children's data

VoiceBond is intended for use by adults (parents and guardians) on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children. Child-profile fields are provided by the parent. If you believe a child has provided data without consent, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Data security

• All network traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
• Passwords are stored only as one-way bcrypt hashes — we cannot recover them.
• Voice files and media live in access-controlled cloud storage.

7. Your rights

• Access — view everything stored under your account in the app.
• Deletion — delete your entire account and all associated data from Settings → Account → Delete account. This is irreversible and removes your profile, voices, books, and capsules.
• Correction — edit your nickname and profile any time.
• Contact — for any privacy request, email privacy@voicebond.app; we reply within 7 business days.

8. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove personal data within 72 hours, except where retention is legally required. Cloned voices unused for an extended period may be removed automatically.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

1. 我们收集什么

• 账号信息:邮箱、单向哈希后的密码(bcrypt)、昵称。
• 语音录音(生物特征数据):您为创建克隆声音而录制的语音样本。
• 孩子档案:您可选填的孩子昵称与生日/预产期。请仅以父母或法定监护人身份填写孩子信息。
• 您创建的内容:绘本、阅读记录、时光胶囊录音与信件。
• 自动收集:访问日志(IP、时间、设备类型、应用版本),用于安全与排障。

我们不使用任何广告或跨应用追踪 SDK,不收集您的通讯录、相册或位置。

2. 关于语音数据的特别说明

语音录音属于生物特征数据,受到额外保护:

• 仅用于声音克隆与故事朗读,绝不用于身份识别、广告或任何其他用途。
• 由我们的语音合成与克隆供应商 MiniMax 在保密约定下处理,仅用于生成您的克隆声音与合成音频。我们不出售、不共享语音数据。
• 您可随时在「声音」页面删除任意克隆声音。删除会在 72 小时内从我们的服务器与供应商处移除源样本与衍生模型。
• 创建克隆声音需通过活体检测(朗读指定短句),以防止在他人不在场时克隆其声音。

3. 我们如何使用数据

• 驱动声音克隆,生成个性化朗读,让家人听到熟悉的声音。
• 根据您提供的提示生成绘本文本与插画(文本由 DeepSeek,插画由 火山引擎 Volcengine)。
• 将媒体存储于受访问控制的云存储(阿里云 OSS)。
• 处理订阅与购买(经 Apple 应用内购买,我们不接触您的银行卡信息)。
• 维护安全、防止滥用、提升质量。

4. 第三方处理方

我们仅共享必要的最小数据给:MiniMax(声音克隆+合成)、DeepSeek(文本生成)、火山引擎(图像生成)、阿里云(存储+数据库)、Apple(支付)。各方仅为提供其服务而处理数据。

5. 儿童数据

VoiceBond 面向成年人(父母与监护人)代其孩子使用。我们不会在知情的情况下直接向儿童收集数据。孩子档案字段由父母填写。若您认为有儿童未经同意提交了数据,请联系我们删除。

6. 数据安全

• 所有网络传输均加密(HTTPS/TLS)。
• 密码仅以单向 bcrypt 哈希存储,我们无法还原。
• 语音文件与媒体存储于受访问控制的云存储。

7. 您的权利

• 访问 —— 在应用内查看账号下存储的全部内容。
• 删除 —— 在「设置 → 账号 → 删除账号」中删除整个账号及全部关联数据。此操作不可逆,将移除您的资料、声音、绘本与胶囊。
• 更正 —— 随时编辑昵称与资料。
• 联系 —— 任何隐私请求请邮件至 privacy@voicebond.app,我们在 7 个工作日内回复。

8. 数据留存

账号有效期间我们保留您的数据。删除账号后,我们在 72 小时内移除个人数据(法律另有要求的除外)。长期未使用的克隆声音可能被自动移除。

9. 政策变更

我们可能更新本政策,重大变更将在应用内公告。更新后继续使用即视为接受。
